Inter-Mission India (IMI) is a registered charitable organisation working with poor and marginalised children, women, and communities across India. We rebuild their lives through aid, holistic care, rehabilitation, and spiritual guidance — restoring their hope and dignity, and renewing their purpose and potential.
Officially registered in May 1997, IMI has grown from supporting a small home of 6 children in North Chennai to managing children’s homes, schools, day schools, women’s empowerment projects, and disaster relief programmes across South India and beyond.
IMI obtained FCRA status in 2001, enabling international partnerships with missions abroad. Today, we continue to work alongside partner missions, dedicated donors, and passionate volunteers to bring lasting change to the most vulnerable communities in India.
